TRANSPONDERS
The transponders from Agrident are the key to reliable automatic identification of animals. The transponders are suitable for various applications, from chickens to cattle. They are very robust and survive the whole life cycle of an animal; this includes even the pig slaughtering process and the flame oven. Agrident transponders can be re-used several times. Due to the high quality and the outstanding cost/benefit ratio the agrident transponder are not only used for animal identification but also for item identification in harsh environment.
DTD530 - The robust Disk Transponder
DTD530 disk transponders are designed for the electronic identification of animals. They can be combined with conventional plastic ear tags to provide electronic ear tags for automatic tracking of animals from birth to slaughter.
In addition the DTD530 is used for item identification in heavy environment.
The DTD530 is made of epoxy and therefore unexceptional robust. It survives under severe conditions and can be reused in many applications for several years.
